Description
Acron Aviation is seeking an early- to mid-career Firmware Engineer to design, develop, verify, and maintain safety-critical FPGA-based firmware for TCAS and transponder surveillance avionics. The role covers VHDL/Verilog RTL design, simulation, debugging, requirements-based verification, DO-254 certification processes, hardware documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering, quality, and certification teams. Candidates need an electrical or computer engineering degree, 4–9 years of relevant experience, and experience with FPGA and avionics or RF systems; the position may require travel of up to 10%.
