Elektron is hiring a full-time, permanent Firmware Engineer to join its R&D team and work across the complete software design chain for electronic music instruments. The role involves embedded software development for instruments using multi-threaded real-time operating systems, multiple microcontrollers, and digital signal processors, with responsibilities spanning product ideas, prototypes, released firmware, and future updates. The position is on-site in Gothenburg, Sweden, and requires a master's degree or similar experience, several years of C++ experience, embedded systems knowledge, real-time systems expertise, software architecture skills, and strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
