Description
Menlo Research is hiring an Embedded Firmware Engineer to own the software closest to Asimov's humanoid robot hardware. The role covers real-time C/C++ firmware for joint controllers, sensors, and power management; embedded Linux platform work including kernels, drivers, device trees, and board support packages; hardware bring-up; joint-to-compute communication; sensor integration; safety and fault handling; and hardware-software debugging. Candidates should have at least three years of hands-on firmware or embedded software experience, strong C/C++ and embedded Linux skills, real-time systems knowledge, and familiarity with hardware interfaces and debugging tools.
