Description
Skip is seeking a firmware engineer to help build and evolve wearable robotic products that restore mobility, with responsibilities spanning embedded C/C++, FreeRTOS, ESP32/STM32 communications, secure OTA and bootloader design, AWS IoT Core fleet management, motor control for actuators, and end-to-end real-time embedded and Linux systems. The role is an individual contributor position at an early-stage startup, with some leadership for critical systems, and requires 5+ years of firmware experience, strong low-level debugging and testing skills, and the ability to work on-site in Skip’s San Francisco office three days per week in a full-time hybrid arrangement.
