Description
The Firmware Engineer BIOS/UEFI role focuses on embedded firmware quality, reliability, architecture, testing, debugging, and process improvement across BIOS/UEFI, EC, microcontrollers, sensors, and platform components. The engineer develops and maintains test plans, performs root-cause analysis, manages quality metrics, supports system-level debugging and qualification, reviews designs and standards compliance, and mentors firmware engineers. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and 10+ years of experience in embedded firmware, quality engineering, hardware/firmware debugging, or reliability engineering. Compensation is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually for United States candidates, with health, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
