Description
MistyWest is hiring a Firmware Engineer (Contractor) to support an embedded product build. The role develops and maintains firmware for connected embedded devices, including sensor handling, event-driven state logic, wireless connectivity, secure communications, low-power operation, device reporting, integration, testing, and documentation. Candidates need at least five years of embedded firmware experience, strong C/C++ skills, experience with low-power battery-operated products, and hands-on knowledge of microcontroller peripherals and secure connectivity. The contractor may work remotely or from MistyWest’s Vancouver office and lab depending on the project.
