Meter is hiring a Data Center Switch OS/Firmware Engineer to build and design a performant switch operating system and firmware for Ethernet top-of-rack and spine switching. The role involves scoping, writing, and testing OS features; collaborating with hardware, QA, infrastructure, and senior engineering teams; testing with beta customers; and sharing technical research. Candidates should have strong networking fundamentals, proficiency in C/C++, and experience identifying and solving engineering issues. The estimated compensation is $210,000-$300,000, with eligibility for equity participation.
