Description

OnLogic is hiring a Firmware Engineer to develop and sustain firmware and software for industrial computing products across ARM, x86, and microcontroller architectures. The role covers firmware requirements, ARM and microcontroller development, Linux device drivers, UEFI/BIOS support, prototyping, validation, certification, issue tracking, and customer support. It requires an onsite presence in South Burlington, Vermont, or Cary, North Carolina, and offers a salary of $140,000 to $160,000.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Required Previous Experiences: Experience leading targeted software or firmware design efforts
At least 3 years of firmware development experience, preferably with ARM SoCs in the industrial PC industry
Experience collaborating across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and product testing disciplines
Experience with embedded firmware and debugging using JTAG-based debuggers and logic analyzers
Experience with ARM64 SoCs, including their architecture and operation
Experience with device trees in an ARM environment
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ARM64 SoCs, including their architecture and operation
Experience with device trees in an ARM environment
Experience designing x86 or ARM-based motherboards, ideally for industrial applications
