Astera Labs is hiring a Firmware Engineer Tech Lead in Bangalore to architect and develop firmware and microcontroller subsystems for its SoC and systems products. The role focuses on differentiating product features, customer-facing firmware, on-chip microcontroller firmware, C/C++ SDKs, and HW-SW interface verification. Required qualifications include an electrical engineering or computer science degree, at least five years of experience with complex SoC or silicon products, and expertise with PCIe, C/C++, Python, build environments, and SoC interfaces. Preferred experience includes PAM4 SerDes, PCIe devices, and embedded firmware for PCIe or Ethernet switches.
