Astera Labs is hiring a Firmware Engineer Tech Lead to architect and develop firmware and microcontroller subsystems for its SoC and systems products. The role focuses on differentiating product features, customer-facing firmware, on-chip microcontroller firmware, C/C++ SDKs, and HW-SW interface verification. Candidates need an EE or Computer Science degree, at least five years of experience with complex SoC or silicon products, and expertise in PCIe, C/C++, Python, build environments, and SoC interfaces. The base salary is $160,000 to $200,000, with discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefits.
