Description

Graphcore is hiring a full-time Firmware Engineering Intern for its BMC Development team. The 12-week summer internship runs from May through August and involves designing, implementing, testing, and debugging low-level and embedded firmware for advanced compute systems. The intern will develop firmware and supporting software in C, C++, or Python; create automated tests and scripts; support continuous integration and delivery; conduct engineering experiments; and work with hardware, silicon, systems, and software teams in a Linux development environment.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Academic, personal, or project experience developing embedded software or firmware.
Experience with microcontrollers, embedded processors, system-level firmware, or hardware bring-up.
Experience using lab equipment or conducting hardware-based engineering experiments.
Experience with automated testing or scripting in Python.
Familiarity with Git or another version-control system.
Awareness of continuous integration and delivery practices.
