Mill is hiring a Firmware Engineering intern to work on embedded software and hardware validation for a novel consumer product. The intern will write and test embedded C, develop prototype drivers, debug systems during commissioning, and support testing with electrical engineers and product designers. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, five days per week in the San Bruno office, and experience with embedded C and electromechanical systems. Preferred qualifications include embedded Linux, hardware debugging tools, loadcell and motor development, Python scripting, and CI/CD experience. The estimated base hourly range is $35 to $45, with benefits and potential equity, and visa sponsorship is unavailable.
