Description
Synopsys is hiring a Firmware Engineering Manager in Ottawa to lead a team of 5 to 8 firmware engineers developing training algorithms and control logic for DDR, LPDDR, and HBM memory interface PHYs. The role manages the full project lifecycle, works with customers, coaches engineers, establishes engineering standards, and troubleshoots firmware, RTL, and hardware issues. Candidates need a degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related field, plus experience leading embedded firmware or silicon IP teams, strong C and waveform-debugging skills, and experience across hardware and software development.
