HP is hiring a Firmware Program Management (BIOS/EC) professional for a fixed-term contract role with benefits, initially for two years with possible extension. The role oversees firmware instructional manuscripts, programming projects, detailed design plans, and multiple project teams of firmware engineers and development partners. Responsibilities include managing firmware design and development relationships, reviewing designs for compliance, leading cross-organization firmware initiatives, coordinating hardware and firmware integration, documenting communication protocols and requirements, introducing new technologies, and mentoring less-experienced engineers. The role requires experience with CI/CD, Agile or equivalent development methods, software/firmware architecture, embedded systems, debugging, and firmware development, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
