Description
The Firmware Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security-critical embedded firmware for next-generation storage and controller products. The role focuses on device-level security, secure firmware updates, lifecycle management, debug-port control, Root of Trust interactions, and protection of keys, OTP, and credentials. Responsibilities include building security layers, integrating hardware and firmware-based Root of Trust, handling cryptographic material, supporting secure manufacturing and field updates, and participating in security testing, threat analysis, and design reviews. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of firmware or embedded systems experience, strong C/C++ skills, and hands-on experience with embedded security, hardware-software integration, and secure system design.
