Description

Applied Intuition is hiring a Firmware Validation Engineer to design, develop, and execute firmware test automation for automotive infotainment and embedded systems. The role involves HIL and vehicle testing, system and integration testing, test automation in Python, root-cause analysis, documentation, and collaboration with engineering and OEM partners. Candidates need at least four years of validation engineering experience, proficiency with HIL systems, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; automotive network protocols, Vector CANoe, dSPACE, functional safety, and test automation frameworks are preferred.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent major
Required Previous Experiences: At least 4 years of hands-on validation engineering experience in automotive, embedded systems, or electronics
Experience validating automotive systems using HIL systems
Experience coding in Python or another language for test automation and script development
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with low-power characterization, functional safety, fault injection, and peripheral verification
Experience with automotive network architectures and protocols
Hands-on experience with Vector CANoe and dSPACE ControlDesk
Experience with prototype system bring-up and validation in lab and vehicle environments
Experience with automotive test automation frameworks and robust automated testing
Curiosity to optimize testing processes through scripting, automation, and tools
