Description
The First Line Risk & Control Officer works with business leaders and control owners to build and sustain a first-line risk and control environment. The role manages operational issues and risk events, performs root-cause analysis and corrective-action planning, conducts risk and control self-assessments, documents and tests controls, supports regulatory and audit responses, contributes to risk reporting, and identifies emerging risks. It requires at least 10 years of related banking or financial-services experience, including 5 years in risk management or first-line risk and control, a bachelor's degree, and proficiency with issue lifecycle, risk-event, control-design, and regulatory- and audit-engagement activities.
