Description
DIS-TRAN Steel is hiring an experienced Fitter II in Pineville to fit, align, and weld steel structures according to blueprints, shop drawings, and AWS D1.1 specifications. The role requires interpreting welding symbols, operating welding and other machinery, using cranes and hoists, producing complete joint penetration welds, and maintaining a strong safety record. The position also includes training Fitter I personnel and requires welding certification or prior welding experience with successful completion of the company’s Welder II test, along with GMAW experience.
