Whitehaven Coal is hiring a Maintenance Fitter for its Gunnedah Basin Haulage team to perform repairs and maintenance on 26 Scania A-doubles, work autonomously toward production targets, follow safe-work and JSA protocols, collaborate with production and maintenance teams, and work a three-panel roster covering days and nights. The role requires a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, heavy diesel mechanic experience, Scania-truck experience is a bonus, a current driver’s licence, and the right to work in Australia.
