Canam Bridges is hiring an apprentice Fitter and Welder to learn welding, layout, alignment, fitting, cutting, shaping, and assembly of structural steel components. The role is performed under the supervision of a senior Fitter and Fabrication Training and Development Manager, with responsibilities including quality procedures, production work, cleaning, and safe operation around machinery. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, at least 16 years old, and register through the RAPIDS apprenticeship system; welding and assembly experience is helpful. The position involves physically demanding work, including lifting 60–100 pounds, and requires appropriate PPE and protection from fumes, sparks, noise, and other hazards.
