Description
The Plant Maintenance Mechanic performs repairs and maintenance on aggregate-processing plant equipment, including screen changes, conveyor belt repair, crusher liner changes, water pump service, cutting, grinding, and welding. The role also inspects equipment and structures, monitors crushing, washing, and screening operations, maintains service and lubrication records, and performs general plant cleaning and material-handling tasks. Previous aggregate or construction-industry experience and industrial-maintenance knowledge are preferred, while mechanical-tool knowledge, overtime, outdoor work, and noise tolerance are required.
