Michigan State University’s College of Social Science is hiring a fixed-term instructor to teach a 3-credit project-based experiential learning course in applied artificial intelligence and organizational intelligence. The role centers on hands-on instruction using current AI production practices, partnering with external organizations each semester, and maintaining the technical learning environment including self-hosted model access, workflow automation, and vector database infrastructure. The position requires a master’s degree by the date of hire and prior professional experience delivering AI or software solutions for organizations, with desired experience across the applied AI stack, education or business credentials, and the ability to translate technical systems for non-technical stakeholders.
