Independence Tooling is hiring a Fixture Builder to design, build, assemble, test, and repair precision fixtures, jigs, gauges, and tooling. The role requires interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, blueprints, and GD&T requirements; using hand, power, and machining tools; performing precision fitting and alignment; and troubleshooting fixture issues. Applicants need at least one year of fixture or tool-building experience, prior assembly experience, and familiarity with automotive and aerospace tooling.
