Montana State University is hiring one Flathead County Agriculture Extension Agent to assess local community needs and develop, implement, instruct, and evaluate horticulture, agriculture, natural resources, and 4-H Youth Development programs. The role is based at the MSU Flathead County Extension Office in Kalispell, Montana, with a 1.0 FTE contract, possible tenure-track status for candidates with a master’s degree, and a starting base salary of $51,660 with a bachelor’s degree or $58,660 with a master’s degree. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, community-needs assessment, program leadership, volunteer recruitment and training, and strong communication skills; it also requires a valid Montana driver’s license and offers no visa sponsorship.
