Description
The Fleet Manager will oversee the availability, maintenance, safety, productivity, and cost control of a vehicle fleet. Responsibilities include assigning vehicles and drivers, coordinating maintenance and repairs, monitoring fuel and operating costs, tracking GPS and route compliance, handling breakdowns and incidents, analyzing fleet indicators, preparing management reports, and implementing cost-reduction improvements. The role requires a university degree in Mechanics or Industrial Engineering, at least three years of fleet, transportation, or distribution experience, relevant maintenance and driver-management experience, knowledge of fleet indicators and GPS tools, a valid driver’s license, and availability to supervise workshops, yards, and operations.
