Colonial Transportation Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles, including fuel trucks, chemical and petroleum tankers, dry vans, and related equipment. The role covers diesel engines, transmissions, drive trains, brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, tanker equipment, tires, lighting, and electronic controls, while maintaining DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company compliance. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, commercial truck maintenance experience, relevant vehicle and tanker knowledge, ASE certifications, a CDL, and a valid driver's license. The position works in a maintenance shop and outdoor environment and may require overtime, weekend work, and emergency response.
