Description
The Fleet Mechanic maintains and repairs diesel tractors, tanker trailers, and other company fleet equipment. The role performs scheduled preventive maintenance, roadside and emergency repairs, DOT inspections, diagnostic work, repair-order documentation, DVIR responses, and shop maintenance. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of truck or diesel repair experience, strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, diagnostic-tool proficiency, and the ability to work in confined spaces and varying conditions. Tanker trailer experience and a Class A CDL with X endorsement are preferred, and the position is based in New Jersey.
