Description
The Fleet Mechanic maintains and repairs MEI’s fleet of Ford and Dodge service trucks, forklifts, tractors, and flatbed trailers. Responsibilities include routine preventive maintenance, brake and hydraulic service, vehicle inspections, diagnostics, test drives, repairs, recordkeeping, inventory, and shop equipment maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, precision and hand/power/pneumatic tool use, attention to detail, and teamwork; two to five years of fleet mechanic experience and a Class A CDL are preferred. The position may involve outdoor work, weekends, and holidays.
