Description
The Caterpillar Equipment Repair Technician troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and services Caterpillar and allied equipment, electrical, hydraulic, and power-train systems in an in-shop environment. The role includes preparing service reports, controlling repair costs, maintaining equipment, communicating with clients and management, and providing on-the-job training. It requires a high school diploma or GED, current driver’s license, at least six months of related experience, English communication ability, and completion of an eTRAIN test evaluation. The position pays $23.20–$43.16 per hour and requires a first/Day shift, in-shop work, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
