The role develops, analyzes, and supports aircraft flight control systems, including manual controls, stability augmentation, autopilot, and flight director functions. It involves control law development and tuning, flight dynamics and control theory, system requirements and specifications, stability and failure analyses, simulation and flight testing, and integration with avionics, software, mechanical, and systems engineering teams. The position requires a degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering, approximately five years of relevant experience, control theory and autopilot expertise, and familiarity with avionics, simulation, and software development processes.
