Flight Controls Engineer at Alpine Eagle

Alpine Eagle is hiring for a flight controls role focused on counter-drone defence and airborne systems. The position centers on designing and implementing flight control laws, modeling aircraft dynamics, building SITL/HITL simulations, analyzing flight logs, and improving the bridge between simulation and real-world aircraft behavior. The role requires a strong foundation in flight mechanics, dynamics, and control theory, with experience in classical and modern control methods, Python-based modeling tools, and flight control firmware such as PX4 or Ardupilot. The company prefers candidates with an MSc or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Control Engineering, or a related field, and values practical experience testing and validating real aircraft systems.
