Description
Omitron is seeking a Spacecraft Navigation Engineer to provide spacecraft navigation expertise for NASA’s Flight Dynamics Facility, supporting more than 35 satellites across various orbital regimes. The role includes orbit determination and prediction, launch and early-orbit navigation, navigation analysis, process improvement, ground-station validation and certification, and collaboration with flight dynamics engineers. The position requires at least five years of professional experience, a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline, and expertise in orbital mechanics, orbit determination, and tools such as STK or GMAT. Some travel, occasional off-hours support, and hybrid or remote telework opportunities are available.
