Helsing is hiring a Flight Dynamics Engineer to build and validate flight dynamics models for aerial platforms from first principles through numerical simulation, experimental campaigns, and flight-test validation. The role collaborates with control, aerodynamics, and test engineers to support control-law design, simulation environments, and autonomy development, while documenting model assumptions and validation results. Candidates should have experience developing and validating flight dynamics models, a grounding in aerodynamics, stability and control, systems modelling, and proficiency in Matlab and Simulink, with additional coding and systems-identification experience preferred.
