Description
The Flight Maintenance Engineer Assistant Manager reports to the Flight Maintenance Engineer Manager and oversees Flight Maintenance Engineers, supervisors, schedulers, and trainers. Responsibilities include enforcing company policies, coordinating reliability and inventory initiatives, managing personnel assignments, evaluating performance, overseeing training and on-the-job training, liaising with international maintenance providers, coordinating aircraft maintenance requirements, and managing expenses and operational budgets. The role requires an FAA Airframe & Power Plant Certificate, US citizenship with a US passport, strong computer and English skills, and knowledge of world geography and flight operations; seven years of aircraft maintenance experience and five years of supervisory experience are preferred.
