Description
Icarus is hiring a Flight Operations Engineer to set up and prepare solar-powered aircraft, conduct autonomous flight tests, operate and recover the aircraft, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues, analyze telemetry, and write procedures and reports. The role requires a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience, at least three years of UAS, flight test, or aircraft operations experience, strong troubleshooting and Linux skills, and the ability to make decisive judgments under pressure. The position offers a US salary range of $120,000 to $180,000, health, dental, and vision insurance, and equity.
