Description
The Flight Operations Performance Engineer is a senior-level, office-based role in Miami, Florida, reporting to the Director of Operations. The position leads engineering-driven improvements across fuel efficiency, weight and balance, ACARS data utilization, and flight operations technology, while owning the airline's FAA-compliant Electronic Flight Bag program. Responsibilities include vendor and partner management, systems integration, performance analytics, root-cause analysis, regulatory compliance, EFB fleet and application governance, and leadership of operations engineers and systems analysts. The role requires a relevant bachelor's degree, at least seven years of airline operations experience including three years in performance engineering or technical aviation leadership, and hands-on experience with ACARS, fuel performance, weight and balance systems, EFB programs, and operational data analysis.
