The Manager, Flight Sciences leads the Guidance, Navigation, and Control, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Aerodynamic Performance disciplines within an aerospace engineering organization. The role manages engineering professionals, budgets, staffing, training, performance evaluations, and career development; directs hardware-in-the-loop environments and embedded flight-control software deployment; and coordinates with project leaders, customers, and functional peers. The position is fully on-site in San Luis Obispo, California, requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of aerospace vehicle development experience, and pays $118,000–$175,000 annually.
