Description
Apex is hiring a Flight Software Engineer to design, develop, own, and test mission-critical software for autonomous satellite bus operations. The role covers the full software lifecycle, commissioning and early spacecraft operations, unit, integration, and system-level testing, and collaboration with internal teams and external customers. Candidates need at least eight years of flight software experience, a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or an equivalent field, and expertise in Python, C++, Rust, real-time distributed systems, embedded Linux, Yocto, satellite protocols, and secure communications.
