Rocket Lab is hiring a Flight Software Engineer - Electron to create, maintain, and support flight software for the Electron rocket and ground-based communication systems. The role includes developing software and unit tests, reviewing flight code, managing software architecture and requirements, conducting trade studies, deploying operational software, and delivering training. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least two years of software engineering experience, and C/C++ development skills; experience with high-reliability systems, networking, radio communications, Linux, Python, and data processing is preferred.
