Lockheed Martin is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for Space Protection Programs to lead the development, integration, verification, and system bring-up of mission-critical spacecraft flight software and embedded systems. The role spans software architecture, C/C++ and Python development, Linux-based environments, hardware/software co-design, real-time and heterogeneous-compute systems, Agile execution, and technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams. Candidates must have strong embedded software and integration experience, an active TS security clearance, and the ability to lead technical execution and mentor less experienced engineers.
