Varda is hiring a Summer Intern for its flight software team in Los Angeles, California. The internship runs from May through August, is full-time and on-site, and involves designing, implementing, debugging, and testing embedded C++ software for spacecraft systems, including guidance, navigation, control, power management, and communications. The intern will work with hardware interfaces, sensors, actuators, avionics, and systems integration. Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program and have C++ proficiency, embedded-systems experience, computer-architecture and operating-systems knowledge, Linux familiarity, and low-level debugging ability. The role pays $37.00 per hour and includes housing and commuter benefits, health insurance, and other intern benefits.
