BAE Systems is hiring a Flight Systems Engineer - Crew Systems for an on-site role at Warton, with hybrid and flexible working options available. The role supports the development, specification, clearance, testing, safety, and life-cycle support of crew systems across aircraft programmes such as Typhoon, Hawk, F-35, and Tornado. Responsibilities include supporting technical leads, leading major capability upgrade programmes, managing design and performance-control documentation, resolving problems, estimating costs and timescales, coordinating activities, managing risk and compliance, and working with suppliers and customers. Applicants must be BAE Systems employees who have completed at least 12 months in their current role, hold a STEM-related degree or HND or equivalent experience, and have systems engineering or support engineering experience focused on mechanical systems; flight systems knowledge is desirable.
