Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is hiring a Mission Execution Engineer to support the Flight Test Group’s development and deployment of autonomous rafts, UAS, and camera systems. The role supports mission planning, coordination, execution tracking, readiness assessments, sponsor communications, equipment readiness, data review packages, and process improvements; it may include travel of 25% to 45% and occasional two- to six-week deployments. The position requires full-time on-site presence, a U.S. Department of Energy Q-level security clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent education and experience. The TSS.4 level includes additional program leadership, cross-functional coordination, and process-improvement responsibilities. The annual pay range is $154,950 to $235,692, with a TSS.3 range of $154,950 to $196,476 and a TSS.4 range of $185,850 to $235,692.
