Description
The Flex Float Direct Support Professional provides person-centered support to individuals in crisis group homes and other residential and community-based settings, including daily routines, personal care, behavior support, medication administration, transportation, documentation, and community activities. The role offers flexible coverage across multiple program locations, including mornings, evenings, overnights, and every other weekend, and requires availability Monday through Friday and every other weekend. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, pass a DHS background study, and have basic computer skills; a high school diploma or GED and experience working with individuals with disabilities are preferred. The position reports to the House Supervisor, is non-exempt, and includes paid training, PTO, paid holidays, health, dental, life insurance, and disability insurance.
