Nuvance Health Med Practice PC is hiring a PRN float pool Medical Assistant for Region D, covering medical practices in Poughkeepsie, Highland, Hyde Park, Rhinebeck, Kingston, Woodstock, Modena, Millerton, Millbrook, New York, and Sharon, Connecticut. The role provides clinical and clerical support, including patient intake and identification, medical-record updates, chart preparation, EMR order reconciliation, room preparation, in-office testing, specimen processing, follow-up communication, inventory management, and electronic documentation. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED plus one year of Medical Assistant experience, be a new graduate of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, hold EMT certification, or have three years of related medical-office experience. BLS certification is required within 30 days, and the position requires travel among regional practices.
