Description
The preschool floater supports the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of children in classrooms by supervising and guiding students, implementing lesson plans, supporting recreation, snacks, and naps, maintaining orderly and sanitary classrooms, assisting with daily student reports, communicating with parents, and participating in conferences and continuing education. The role also includes collecting and analyzing administrative data and covering classrooms as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 540 hours of documented experience working with unrelated preschool children, child CPR/First Aid certification, personal qualities for working with children, and being at least 18 years old; pre-employment health certification and a criminal background check are also required.
