Description
The Expo Center and Fairgrounds Maintenance and Setup Technician maintains and cleans event facilities, restrooms, common areas, lawns, and parking areas; sets up and breaks down tables, chairs, office equipment, and other materials for events; performs routine maintenance and minor repairs; removes trash; and responds to urgent cleaning or setup needs. The role reports to the Operations Manager and is overseen by the Director of the Fairgrounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while prior custodial, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience is preferred but not required. The position requires physical activity, flexible scheduling, drug and background screening, and training for floor scrubbers and scissor lifts.
