Stirling Council is recruiting a permanent, full-time Floorlayer to support its Capital Investment & Technical Team with hands-on floor-covering and wet-floor work in people’s homes. The role involves installing carpets, sheet vinyl, LVT, and wet-floor showers; assisting skilled trades teams; transporting materials; and working on-site, in new builds, and across housing improvement projects. Candidates need practical flooring experience, a Category B/C1 driving licence, physical fitness, and the ability to work independently and communicate with colleagues and tenants. The position is based in Allan Water or mobile, pays £31,662–£33,507, and includes an out-of-hours standby or emergency service.
