Description

Rocket Lab is hiring a Fluid Component Intern to support the Components team in designing second-generation valves and actuators for fluid handling on oxidizer-rich staged combustion engines and medium-lift launch vehicles. The intern will work with mentors and colleagues, apply engineering concepts to real challenges, attend regular progress updates, and participate in technical events. The role requires enrollment in an aerospace, aeronautical, astronautical, or mechanical engineering program with at least one semester remaining, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and at least three months of applied engineering experience. It is a full-time, on-site position beginning January, February, or March 2027, with $28 per hour in California and benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid leave, retirement matching, and other perks.
