Panthalassa is hiring a Fluid Dynamicist to develop, validate, and apply fast-running physics-based marine hydrodynamics tools for device design, optimization, controls, and fleet deployment. The role focuses on boundary element method models, reduced-order hydrodynamics, OrcaFlex, metocean analyses, simulation workflows, and Python engineering tools, while collaborating with CFD, controls, optimization, mechanical, software, and test teams. The position is full-time, based in Portland, Oregon, with occasional extended hours, weekend work, and regular travel expected.
